Next step for the project is to start fulfillment and get all those chonky books to you beautiful people.
We are working closely with our fulfillment partner to get the shipping information, product amounts and everything else necessary double-checked and confirmed and once that is done, everything will get on boats (or trucks, or trains, I don't know, some kind of transport!) to start reaching the fulfillment centers.
We are working with x4 fulfillment centers around the world to make this process easier both for us and for you (safer shipping) so expect another update once everything has reached the fulfillment centers.

If you haven't finalized your pledge yet, please make sure you do so in the next couple of days because once the factory starts working on our order, we will not be able to alter the counts for each item. We have (per our fulfillment partner's suggestion) made a few extras for the bigger fulfillment centers (US and EU hubs) so we can still accommodate a couple more orders and specifically those who did not complete their order yet.
Please contact me as soon as you possibly can if you have any issues with your pledge.

How to finish your pledge - A step by step!

Hey everyone,
It came to my attention that some people still haven't finalized their pledge and since I don't want anyone to end up not receiving their rewards just because they are not sure what they need to do, I figured I would make a quick update about it!
How to finalize your pledge
Step 1: Make sure you visit BackerKit.com and log-in using the same e-mail you used for Kickstarter.
Alternate Step 1: Look through your e-mails (inbox) for the terms "starlight arcana survey" to find your invitation to the pledge manager. Make sure you are checking the inbox of the e-mail address you used to make your pledge on Kickstarter.
Step 4: Go through the process of finalizing your pledge (most importantly putting in your address and payment details so that we can charge you for shipping & tax)
...and that's it!

Post-Project Update #26 - Commissions DONE + News!

I am here to deliver some quick news on what is going on with Starlight Arcana!

Production is underway!✅
This is still the same as it was before. We had to figure some logistics-related stuff like barcodes and being able to scan items to organize them much more easily during fulfillment, but with that out of the way, we are back on track for production.
Time required before production is finished: 2 months

Special Commissions are all done!✅
I am in the very pleasant position to announce that all special artwork commissions have been finished! Dusky Cat delivered the files a couple of days ago and after going through them to properly check if everything is in order, we organized them and will be sending them out in the next couple of days to every backer that has a commission as part of their pledge.
Thank you to all the backers that pledged on the commission tiers and we really hope that what you receive will be to your liking as Dusky Cat put a lot of love into making all of your commission requests!
Don't forget to follow Dusky Cat by the way as she is starting to be super active again on Patreon and on her socials so there's tons of awesome artworks and other things to stare at!

📫Locked Addresses? Oops...📬
Some of you have messaged me asking if fulfillment has started yet because we locked addresses. Fulfillment has not started yet and locking the addresses on the Pledge Manager was a mistake on our side.
We will soon be removing the lock so that you can freely update your address up until we start fulfillment. We apologize for that little confusion there but do not worry as it did not affect the project in any other way.
Also, once again, if you have any issues with your pledge, please feel free to reach out to me and I will help you as soon as I possibly can. I have, thankfully, personally been able to assist a dozen of you already with your pledges and I am glad to see things are working properly with the pledge manager!
We are pushing 🌊Sirensongback to 2025 so that we can fulfill our other two projects first.
We have plans to relaunch🧊Soulfrost Reliquaryin the future and backers of the 1st one will get awesome free loyalty rewards.
The new things I wanted to mention in this update are:
We are probably moving to Gamefound. We have thought about this for a long time now and we believe that Kickstarter as a platform is way too saturated, a bit messy and not as friendly to creators as we hoped it would be. Gamefound on the other hand, has a lot of perks that will allow us to engage with our community much easier, more consistently and with better visibility (and even discoverability to a certain degree). We are still considering this change, but we will soon have news about this again since we plan on putting up some of our projects there to also start putting up preview posts (another awesome thing the platform has.)
We have just about finished the writing for Sirensong. We are basically at around 95% on it and we are super happy to have started moving forward steadily with artwork produciton as well. We want to be even more ready than how we were with Soulfrost Reliquary, to the point that when the live campaign for Sirensong ends, we can immediately deliver all the digital stuff to backers and move to the pledge manager and production just a month after.
We have started planning out Souls Arcana - the next project in the Core Book series. This is still very much "top secret" and there is so much to reveal for it in future updates.
We have started working on Sailing the Stars - a supplement for Starlight Arcana. We will have more to share on that soon enough. I am super excited to show you what we have been working on to expand and support the already huge amount of stuff we have in Starlight Arcana. Yes, ships and naval combat are finally coming to a starlit galaxy near you.

Post-Project Update #25 - Production started + Other news!

Hey, starfarer captains!
Here's another quick update on Starlight Arcana's current situation!

Production is underway!✅
We have finalized our production order for printing with our print partner and they communicated with us that they will begin production after Chinese New Year events are past! (Oh and happy Chinese New Year by the way!)
Time required before production is finished: 2 months

Fulfillment Plan is complete!✅
We have communicated with GamesQuest, our shipping partner about what the fulfillment plan will look like exactly and we have decided to go with x4 different fulfillment hubs around the world in order to make shipping more affordable (as you saw in the Pledge Manager phase). As soon as printing is finished, we go full speed into fulfillment!
Time to load and ship to hubs via boat: 1 to 1.5 month
Time to unload and sort through things at fulfillment centers: 0.5 to 1 month
Time to start sending out stuff: 1 week

With all of that in mind, we are basically looking at about 4 to 5 months before you start getting notifications with tracking codes to get your pledges!

What do you need to do?
All you need to do is keep your eyes open for an e-mail stating your address in a couple of months!
This is important since, once we start fulfillment, you will have one final chance to change your address on the pledge manager and then one final chance to change it when you get an e-mail verification from the shipping company that is handling your pledge!
Do not worry though since we will always be here in case you need help with your pledge! Just reach out to us and we will do our best to help you!
We will be delaying our next project, Sirensong, because we want to be done with everything else first. We have taken your feedback very seriously and because of that we decided to launch Sirensong in Q2 of 2025.
This will allow us to:
Fully finish Starlight Arcana (everyone gets their physical pledges)
Fully finish Soulfrost Reliquary (everyone gets their physical pledges)
Have some really good pre-launch marketing for Sirensong
Finish Sirensong even before it launches and then add extras through stretch goals without incurring any extra delays
Already start working on our next project to be yet another step ahead
We do have plans to RELAUNCH Soulfrost Reliquaryat some point in the future though since we absolutely LOVE the result of our work on that project and we really think that it deserves another go on Kickstarter (it can really be a whole lot bigger as a project!)
This relaunch though will happen after a couple of our other projects and when it does go live, all of the backers of the first SFR project will get some awesome goodies for being the original dwellers of our dreadful frost dungeon!

Other Small Projects👀
Since the beginning of 2024 we have doubled our productivity because we have some huge plans for our next big projects. Not only that, but we are also planning to create some smaller projects to get our name more "out there."
This includes some zine events on Kickstarter along with some other things that we have always wanted to be a part of but just did not have the time.
So expect to see some smaller but equally cool projects from us in 2024 and 2025 for sure!

Post-Project Update #24 - Production started!

Hey, star dwellers!
It's been a while since the last update, so apologies for that. The truth is, however, that there is not much to update you on. That being said though, I will try to make the updates more consistent so that you are not left in the dark for too long!
First things first, this update was supposed to go out last week, but I got sick (again) and could not do all that much. Thankfully, it's just a cold that gets me in a bit more intense manner. I've been leading a much healthier lifestyle and my body is having a hard time accepting that. So, at the end of the day, it's all good news.
In regards to Starlight Arcana, here's what's up:
All print files have been checked, rechecked, and approved. This ended up being a longer process than what we expected it to be but in the end very worth the extra time because we ended up with a much better result. Some details had to be refined in order to make sure that you all get the best possible stuff arriving at your door. One of those things, for example, was the inclusion of the Sun and Moon art prints in ALL hardcover book orders. Since the art prints are a larger size than the hardcover book, we had to figure out a few logistics-related things to make it work well.
LongPack is to start production soon. Production is planned to take about 2 months to fully complete and considering the fact that the factory will be closed until the 25th of February (for Chinese New Year), that means that we are looking at the end of April for the completion of the production.
Our fulfillment partner, GamesQuest, has been actively working with us to help us plan how fulfillment will go. This includes things such as what fulfillment centers to use, how to package and send orders to backers, and a few other details. We are very happy with our choice of fulfillment partners since GamesQuest has been absolutely lovely and extremely helpful every step of the way. I cannot stress enough how alien and unfamiliar all of this is for me since this is the first time I have ever had to go through such processes. None of what I had done before could prepare me for this (which is quite sad, considering I have a bachelor's in International Business Management :')... )
The digital PDF has also been updated and I believe you will all find the changes very much to your liking, since I have personally rewritten and improved all of the writing for the entire first part of the book (all of the Player-related parts) all the way up to (and including) the spells section.

With all that in mind, we are in the final few steps of the project being completely finished and we honestly couldn't be happier about this. It has been a very long run for us and we have learned a lot (with new lessons detailed in each and every past update we have put out). These are all lessons that we plan on carrying forward, to our new projects, and also all of the other stuff we plan on working on.
Thank you all so much for your patience and your understanding. This is a first-time endeavor for us and your comments and your support have helped make this an absolutely one-of-a-kind experience that we will never forget.
The stars are definitely not the limit and you will find that we have so much more planned (and even things we are already working on) for the future.
Just as a teaser, here are some of the names of our upcoming projects...
(In case you didn't know, sharks are my favorite animal! :D)

Even if there is not much to report on, I will make sure we deliver at least two updates per month from now on, with at least a few teasers (like concept art) from future projects, just to keep you all on your toes and inspired for new adventures!
